About the role
As Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for our closing processes and take responsibility for the accounting topics of the legal entities of our international group.
You’ll be part of the Finance team, reporting to our CFO Guillaume, and you’ll be interacting both with internal stakeholders, as well as with external advisors & auditors. You’ll also work closely with Alexandra, our Office Manager, who’ll support you in handling the administrative workload.

How will your month look like?
An average month will be filled with a wide range of activities:
You’ll be responsible for the monthly and year-end closing processes
You'll own the G/L accounting operations & reconciliations, and verify the correctness of the information.
You'll support ad-hoc questions and monitor the accuracy of all legal entities’ balance sheets and P&L statements.
You will be supporting AppTweak’s international growth by consolidating its affiliates according to international standards
You'll implement standardization of work methods and roll out supporting documentation.
You'll be a key user in optimizing our finance tools and iterate processes towards increased efficiency
You'll follow accounting/fiscal legislation & regulation in our existing markets, as well as prepare upon request for new markets
You'll grow towards becoming a key contact for external auditors & accounting advisors
You'll explore, analyze, and implement accounting and/or audit process improvements
You'll take part in the year-end forecast and yearly budget processes
In addition to proven experience in accounting & a degree in Finance/Accounting, you have:
3-5 years of relevant experience (in SaaS is a plus)
A healthy passion for numbers. After all, you’ll be facing them daily
A good affinity with technology. We are working with a variety of tools and are constantly looking to improve our processes.
Some flexibility and the ability to perform under pressure (e.g. closing or compliance deadline peaks)
Critical thinking, process-driven, and hands-on. Your suggestions will be embraced, but we expect you to take the initiative and come up with them.
Accuracy and an eye for detail. Only right & precise numbers satisfy you at the end of the day.
Good communication and literacy skills in English, helping you communicate with internal colleagues and external suppliers. French is a plus.
