Head of Employee Experience

Job description

We are looking for a passionate Head of Employee Experience to join our second-stage rocket ship!

Within a growing, agile, and fast-paced organization, you’ll be responsible for supporting the company's growth by acquiring and developing an amazing team. Based in Brussels, you’ll be responsible for the end-to-end employee journey.
Although you’ll be supported in your role by a Talent Acquisition Manager (soon by a second one), you’ll maintain the helicopter view from attracting, hiring, and onboarding candidates all the way to their personal and career development.
You’ll be joining the Employee Experience team at a very exciting time where many new HR initiatives are implemented to help the company to thrive.

You will report directly to Olivier Verdin, CEO at AppTweak.

In a nutshell, all the fun of a fast-growing company with a human-centric approach ;)

Your Responsibilities:

  • Drive a strategic, proactive approach to ensure people and culture is at the start of business discussions and aligns with the annual business plans across all divisions.

  • With your business partners, proactively be out in the business so the HR team has a seat at the table, their finger on the pulse and are seen as trusted advisors by the business on all people matters.

  • Create and deliver annual people strategy for attracting and developing high-performing people.

  • Provide clear and effective counsel to management on people-related issues including performance management, employee relations and organizational design.

  • Lead development of people by overseeing appraisal, career planning, and feedback processes to strategically map and deliver development requirements for the business.

  • Creatively find solutions to deliver training to global employees beyond classroom learning.

  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, actively reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.

  • Ensure recruitment and learning & development processes are relevant and meet regulatory and legislative requirements.
