UX/UI Designer

Job description

We’re looking for a UX/UI Designer to join our team! If you’re looking to work in a dynamic tech company with high growth, this is for you!

About AppTweak:
AppTweak is the leading ASO tool for apps and games driven by data science. ASO or App Store Optimization (also known as “Mobile SEO”) is the process of improving an app’s visibility (rank high on search terms, in the top charts or get featured by the store) in app stores with the objective to increase organic app downloads. It is the most cost-effective marketing acquisition channel for high quality users and has become crucial in today’s highly competitive world of apps.

Our all-in-one platform provides mobile marketers and app publishers with all the data and insights they need to increase their app or game’s visibility, grow organic downloads, and find new growth opportunities.

Today we have a team of over 50 people, based in 4 offices around the globe (Brussels, San Francisco, Bengaluru and Tokyo) and supporting more than 1,500 customers worldwide including game studios such as Jam City, Big Fish Games, and WB Games and app businesses like Yelp, PayPal or Amazon Music, and many more!

AppTweak has been awarded the “Best ASO Tool” by the App Growth Awards community and was recognized as the 6th Fastest-Growing Technology Company in Deloitte Belgium’s Fast 50 competition.

About the Role:

As part of its rapid growth, AppTweak is expanding its Design Team and is looking for a talented UX/UI Designer.

The UX/UI Designer will be part of a small Design Team that focuses on continuously improving our existing products and bringing new features with clean UI and a smart UX to life. We’re looking for someone who has a real interest in technology and is driven by solving interface design problems.

At AppTweak, you will be working hand-in-hand with the Product team to understand the user requirements of a new feature. It’s then up to you to make that feature come to life thanks to your ability to create great visual designs, interaction designs, and prototypes.

You will also be in close contact with the team of Developers, but that doesn’t scare you since you are comfortable with coding. We’re looking for someone who deeply understands how interfaces are built and takes that into account during the design process. You have no problem doing some HTML, CSS and a bit of JS from time to time.

To summarize, as a UI/UX Designer at AppTweak, you will be in the centre of the product design, which is the major driver of our company growth and the success of our ASO Tool.

What will you do?

  • Based on feature requirements and brand guidelines, you’re responsible for designing, iterating and delivering wireframes and user interfaces that lead to intuitive user experiences.
  • You improve existing features based on user feedback and usability testing.
  • You’re able to work with Front-End Developers on the HTML/CSS of our product and features.

Requirements

Who are we looking for:

  • You have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study.
  • You have at least two years of UI/UX design experience.
  • You are experienced in wireframing and prototyping and familiar with tools like Figma, Sketch, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • You have a strong knowledge of design principles and a good understanding of mobile-first and responsive design.
  • You have a good knowledge of HTML/CSS.
  • Ideally, you have:
    • Experience with Design Systems.
    • Experience with Javascript frameworks is a plus.
    • Git basic skills.
    • Previous experience designing digital products, not just websites.
  • You have a strong interest in UI/UX and other areas of design and innovation.
  • You are a team player, critical thinker, solution-oriented and you pay attention to detail.
  • You are fluent in French and English
  • You love food (optional)
  • If you have another unique skill, we'd love to hear more!

What's in it for you?

  • You'll join a company where culture, diversity and flat hierarchy are a cornerstone of our identity.
  • You'll be granted flexibility in your work and opportunities for continuous learning and creative thinking.
  • You'll be invited to meet your colleagues from all over the world during our yearly retreat in Europe.
  • You'll be offered a competitive package, including many benefits such as 20 legal Holidays and 12 RTT

So if you are motivated, ready to learn, and have a curious and innovative mindset, we’d love to meet you!

Please note you will need a valid visa/work permit to be eligible for the role in the country you are applying for.
