UX/UI Designer

Job description

As part of its rapid growth, AppTweak is expanding its Design Team and is looking for a talented UX/UI Designer to join us!

AppTweak is the leading ASO tool driven by data science. AppTweak empowers mobile leaders - such as Amazon, Jam City, Yelp, Zynga and Adobe - to grow their apps and games with actionable insights in a simple interface.

Committed to developing the most accurate, transparent and easy-to-use ASO tool on the market, AppTweak supports over 1,500 app developers and game publishers worldwide. AppTweak’s all-in-one platform offers ASO Intelligence, Ad Intelligence, App Intelligence and Market Intelligence.

AppTweak has been awarded the “Best ASO Tool” by the App Growth Awards community and was recognized as the 6th Fastest-Growing Technology Company in Deloitte Belgium’s Fast 50 competition. Launched in 2014, AppTweak serves customers from all corners of the world, with offices in Brussels, San Francisco, Tokyo and Bengaluru.

About the role:

As UX/UI Designer, you will be part of a Design Team that focuses on continuously improving our existing products and bringing new features with clean UI and a smart UX to life. We’re looking for someone who has a real interest in technology and is driven by solving interface design problems.

At AppTweak, you will be working hand-in-hand with the Product team to understand the user requirements of a new feature. It’s then up to you to make that feature come to life thanks to your ability to create great wireframes, visual designs, interaction designs, and prototypes.

You will also be in close contact with our team of developers, but that doesn’t scare you since you are comfortable with coding. We’re looking for someone who deeply understands how interfaces are built and takes that into account during the design process. You have no problem doing some HTML, CSS, and a bit of JS from time to time.

To summarize, as a UI/UX Designer at AppTweak, you will be at the center of the product design, which is a major driver of our company's growth, and contributes to the success of our ASO Tool.

What you will do:

  • Based on feature requirements and brand guidelines, you’re responsible for designing, iterating, and delivering wireframes and user interfaces that lead to intuitive user experiences.
  • You improve existing features based on user feedback and usability testing.
  • You’re able to work with front-end developers on the HTML/CSS of our product and features

Your Skills

  • You have at least 2-3 years of UI/UX design experience.
  • You have a good understanding of User-Centered Design, Design Systems, and responsive design.
  • You are experienced with wireframing and prototyping and familiar with tools like Figma, Sketch, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of HTML and CSS is a must-have.
  • A good knowledge of React or similar Javascript frameworks is a plus.
  • Basic Git skills are a plus.
  • You can avail yourself of a previous experience designing digital products, not just websites.
  • You have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study.

Your profile

  • You have a strong interest in UI/UX and other areas of design and innovation.
  • You are a team player, critical thinker, and solution-oriented.
  • You pay attention to detail.
  • You are fluent in French and English.
  • You love food (optional)

If you have another unique skill, we’d love to hear more!

So if you are motivated, ready to learn, and have a curious and innovative mindset, let’s meet!

Please note you will need a valid visa/work permit to be eligible for the role in the country you are applying for.
