Leading ASO (App Store Optimization) tool driven by data science, AppTweak empowers +1,500 mobile leaders - such as Amazon, Jam City, Yelp, and Adobe - to grow their apps and games with actionable insights in a simple interface.

We are looking for an amazing Web developer to join our joyful team to skyrocket our projects in 2022 and beyond!

About the Role

To help us bring AppTweak to the next level, you will work in a multi-skilled squad in charge of lead generation & customer lifecycle. As a Web developer, we expect you to have a good grasp of the current tech environment and help us reach our next customers by making our products easier to discover and understand.

We expect you to take part in the development of our corporate website, blogs, and other online touchpoints and collaborate with other members of your team to improve our online presence from the ideation to the final tests, deployment and maintenance.

Your focus will be to:

  • Continuously improve and update our corporate websites, blogs, and other online touchpoints

  • Identify and implement new tools and processes to give our sales and marketing teams more power and autonomy

  • Provide technical oversight and guidance to our sales and marketing team to help them set up their campaigns and initiatives

  • Help the team to integrate third-party services

Technologies we use

  • Our corporate website is built using the Sinatra (Ruby) framework. It's currently a server-side rendering application serving static content. We expect you to expand its capabilities while keeping an eye on key metrics such as speed, SEO, accessibility and performance
  • Our blog is built using Jekyll (Ruby) a static generator that takes in markdown files and generates HTML. We expect you to review this architecture to match our editor's requirements and improve their autonomy



  • Bachelor or master degree in computer science/engineering, or equivalent (e.g. having participated in a Bootcamp and put it into practice through work experience)

  • You are fluent in English. French is a plus

  • 2-3 years experience with a proven track record in leading web development projects

  • Proficiency in coding with a scripting language (such as Ruby, Python, Node, etc.)

  • Previous experience in coding web interfaces using HTML/CSS/JS, with a knowledge of CSS Frameworks

  • Previous experience in working with a CMS

  • Strong interest in modern web development practices, performance, accessibility, and SEO principles

  • Strong entrepreneurial mindset: you're hands-on and autonomous. You find creative solutions to problems in a fast-moving environment.

  • Team player: you enjoy working with others. You have a proactive attitude and you like to make things move forward.


  • Previous experience in a Front-End position for an e-commerce company or in online press/blogging

  • GitHub profile or link to open source work

  • Experience with DNS configuration, deployment to the cloud, and server administration

  • You love food!
