We are looking for an exceptional Business Development Representative to join our dynamic Japan team and help us reach new heights in 2024 and beyond!

Based in the Tokyo office, this position will report to the Head of Japan.

About the role:
You will be instrumental in our Japan region expansion by generating new business opportunities and supporting our sales efforts through strategic outreach.

What you will do

1. Generate and Qualify Leads:

  • Identify and engage with potential customers through phone, email, and social media to create new business opportunities.

  • Qualify inbound leads and guide them through the sales pipeline.

  • Develop a deep understanding of AppTweak’s offerings, including App Store Optimization, the competitive landscape, and internal tools.

  • Schedule and conduct initial meetings and product demos for qualified leads.

2. Collaborate and Strategize:

  • Work closely with the sales team to develop and execute effective outreach strategies.

  • Align with marketing initiatives to ensure a cohesive approach to lead generation and campaign execution.

  • Partner with departments such as Product and Account Executive to address client needs and deliver a seamless customer experience.

  • Contribute to the creation and promotion of Japan-specific case studies, testimonials, and strategic content for events and webinars.

3. Drive Engagement and Awareness

  • Represent AppTweak at major mobile marketing conferences and networking events to enhance brand awareness.

  • Engage with C-level and senior executives in the mobile and gaming industries to foster relationships and promote AppTweak’s reputation.

  • Support and contribute to organizing ASO and ASA-related events, and leverage webinars to increase brand visibility and drive lead generation.

Job requirements

What we expect from you:

Must-have:

  • Fluent in English and Japanese (equivalent to JLPT N1).

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Communication, Marketing, or any relevant field.

  • 2+ years of experience in sales, marketing, or business development with a proven track record in outbound calling.

  • Strong ability to build hypotheses and execute strategies to achieve sales targets.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.

  • Ability to work autonomously and proactively create and execute sales plans.

  • Team player with a collaborative mindset and strong interpersonal skills.

  • Familiarity with CRM tools.

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience in inside sales.

  • Background in the SaaS or digital marketing industry.

  • Experience hosting webinars and organizing offline events.
