Job description
We’re looking for a passionate Community Manager to lead the growth and engagement of our a newly launched community of app marketers, growth managers, and ASO specialists. Your mission is to turn our audience into an active, connected, and loyal community across social, events, online platforms, and beyond.
This role blends creativity, strategy, and relationship-building. You’ll be the voice of the brand and the bridge between AppTweak and our users.
Your responsibilities:
Build & Engage a global community: Develop and execute strategies to grow and engage a community of ASO professionals and app marketers across multiple platforms (LinkedIn, Slack, in-person and virtual events). Collaborate with Growth and Marketing on Member Acquisition strategies.
Create engaging content (in collaboration with the content team): Create content that sparks discussion and interaction within the community. Content can range from posts and polls to newsletters, member spotlights, awards and competitions.
Moderate discussions while safeguarding community guidelines: respond to questions, and encourage knowledge sharing among members. All while ensuring community guidelines are followed.
Organize and host community events: Organize and host webinars, AMAs, Spotlights, networking events, and other community-driven initiatives to foster connections and drive value for our members.
Identify and cultivate relationships with community members: Identify and nurture brand advocates, industry influencers, and partners to strengthen AppTweak’s reputation and reach.
Get buy-in and gain participation of internal experts: Support App Growth Consultants and other internal experts to share their ideas and nurture engagement within the community.
Be the bridge between community members and internal teams: Collaborate with marketing & product teams to amplify campaigns (member sharing),, share updates, and gather user feedback.
Stay informed about industry trends: and share relevant insights with the community (Simons’ newsletter).
Analytics & Reporting: Track key community metrics, analyze engagement trends, and provide insights to improve community initiatives and strategies.
Location: preferably Brussels (hybrid), or remote from the EU.

Job requirements
Must-have:
2–4 years of experience in community management, social media, or content marketing in a SaaS or tech environment.
Exceptional communication and storytelling skills (written and verbal).
Self-starter with strong organizational skills and a creative mindset.
Social Media & Content Savvy: A deep understanding of LinkedIn, Meta and other platforms for professional community building.
Proactivity & being People-Oriented. You are a natural connector who enjoys interacting with people and creating value-driven conversations.
Comfortable with analytics tools and tracking metrics.
Nice-to-have:
Familiarity with ASO, mobile marketing, or the app ecosystem.
Experience with community platforms like Circle, Bettermode or Gainsight.
Experience building and managing online communities (Slack, LinkedIn, or other forums).
