Job description
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Business Intelligence Lead to join our second-stage rocket ship! 🚀
You’ll be responsible for building and leading our Business Intelligence function, transforming data into strategic insights that drive decision-making across the company. As our BI Lead, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the financial strategy, optimizing performance, and ensuring we scale efficiently. From designing robust financial models to guiding key stakeholders with actionable insights, your work will directly impact our company’s growth and success.
You’ll report directly to the CFO in our headquarters’ office in Brussels, Belgium.

Your Responsibilities:
Develop & Implement Financial Planning & Analysis Processes: Establish budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes to support decision-making.
Build Financial Models: Design advanced financial models for revenue forecasting, cost analysis, and strategic planning.
Scenario Analysis & Strategic Planning: Provide leadership with data-driven recommendations for pricing strategies, cost optimization, and growth initiatives.
KPI Tracking & Reporting: Define and track key SaaS metrics (MRR, ARR, LTV, CAC, churn rate, NRR) and provide actionable insights.
Business Partnering: Work closely with department heads (Sales, Marketing, Product, and Operations) to provide financial insights that drive growth and efficiency.
Tool Implementation: Lead the selection and implementation of an FP&A automation tool to replace manual processes, by also leveraging AI
Board & Investor Reporting: Prepare financial reports and presentations for the executive team, investors, and the board.
Cash Flow & Expense Management: Support treasury and financial control in cash flow forecasting and cost control initiatives.
Job requirements
Your profile:
Must have:
Master’s in Finance, Business Administration, and Business Engineering, preferred.
Around 5 years of experience in FP&A, Financial Controlling, or Business Analysis in a fast-growing company.
Strong financial modeling and data analysis skills.
Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, SQL, and BI tools.
Analytical mindset: Proficiency with Excel and proven track record for working with complex data, presenting them in an understandable way and translating them into meaningful decisions.
Ability to translate financial data into clear business insights for non-financial stakeholders.
Entrepreneurial mindset: Comfortable working in a fast-changing, unstructured environment.
Highly organized: You understand the importance and challenges of timely project deliveries and perform well under pressure.
Rigorous and methodical: You know how to take steps to solve problems when dealing with new situations.
Nice-to-have:
Industry Experience: you have experience working in a SaaS, tech, or high-growth scale-up environment.
Experience in management consulting is an asset.
